Prior to founding Personalised Love, Hwee Khim has more than 17 years experience in the public and private sector as a trained Architect and Urban Designer. She has held various management and consulting positions in both public and private companies. She decided to leave her professional career behind in 2014 to set up Personalised Love as a way to give back to the less fortunate in society.
Cherng Yaw is a qualified architect with over 20 years of experience in the industry, he has held various senior management positions in local consultancy firms. Being a veteran in the industry, he has helmed various large-scale projects such as residential, industrial, hotels, and commercial projects. Cherng Yaw has an established network in the construction and real estate sector.

In her relentless quest to perfect leather crafting so that she is able to impart the skills to the special needs Artisans, Hwee Khim has embarked on various training courses in Singapore, Hong Kong, Korea and most recently, the Kingdom of Leather Crafting -Italy!
In April 2017, Hwee Khim spent 3 months in the prestigious Ars Sutoria School in Milan where she learnt the art of Leather Bag making from the Italian Masters. She graduated with a Diploma of Bag Pattern Making Course from the prestigious school. She had also visited many factories and tanneries in Italy to understand the process of leather bag making.
Hwee Khim's aim is to impart the skills of the Italian masters to the special needs artisans in PLove studio. She strongly believes in the potential of these beautiful individuals with differently enabled abilities. Her dream is to see these artisans achieve the professional crafting standards, just like the Italians craftsmen.
